with which you conduct your business. Our horse Cosmo, is everything you
represented him to be and is a fabulous addition to our family. I also
wanted to thank you for managing the logistics of the vet check and
transportation. I have received numerous comments on what a great horse
he is and I will not hesitate to point any inquiries to you.
Very best wishes,
|Lisa Elkers||After searching through hundreds of ads, talking to dozens of sellers, traveling all over California and checking out multiple horses for sale, I was about ready to give up and wait for my next horse to "walk into my life." Friends urged me to look at the sale horses at Precision Training, and I am so glad I did! Christine does a fabulous job training and presenting her horses. She is straightforward, honest, and really cares about matching the buyer with the right horse for their skill level and goals. The horse I bought is also straightforward and honest, well trained for his job and a looker to boot! If I had to do it over again, I would start my search at Precision.|
I had been watching Christine's sale videos for sometime. Her horses all
seem to have amazing attitudes and I admire her training ability.
My husband finally admitted I needed another horse. The first place I looked was precicionhorsetraing.com. I saw 4 horses I wanted to know more about. When we arrive I was impressed with everyone's (especially Christine's) friendliness. I told Christine what I wanted in a trail partner with arena experience, and only one fit my very specific requirements and desires. Christine was very honest and informed me the horse I was most interested in was not what I was looking for. So I rode Noah. He is so amazing. He is exactly what I was looking for and so much more. I do believe he is the nicest, best behaved horse I've ever met. We had a great experience. Thank you Christine.
|Jill Henderson Hawaii, USA||Our family lives on the Big Island, Hawaii and got into the horse community last year. We found it difficult here in the islands to find a suitable horse for our two young daughters. We wanted a safe, sane, sound and suitable gelding that was appropriate for our 8 and 10 year old daughters beginners skills, but one they could also grow with. After coming up short finding what we were looking for in the islands, we expanded our search to the mainland. I found Christine through a web search and also saw her horses on Dream Horse and gave her a call. Christine was accommodating, warm and really listened to our list of what we were looking for. She had several horses at that time that could have been a good fit but one in particular, Ringo an 11 year old AQHA registered grullo gelding, she thought would be the best fit for us. It was difficult to plan since most horses that we were looking at sell very quickly to people that are close enough to go see the horses in person. I wasn't comfortable buying a horse sight unseen or without a vet check. Christine explained her warranty (if you aren't satisfied with your horse at any time, she will take them back and re-sell) and encouraged (without being pushy) for me to consider purchasing this horse sight unseen since there were several others interested in and ready to buy him. She helped coordinate a vet check. Although she doesn't "hold" horses, she extends the courtesy of holding a horse once a vet check has been scheduled pending the outcome. She took ample time and quickly responded to all my questions, phone calls, texts etc. Dr. Benson from Rogue Equine Hospital performed the vet check and he spoke with me over the phone before and after. He was thorough and specific about the results of the check. Ringo seemed like a perfect fit for us so we purchased him sight unseen! Christine kept Ringo as a boarder until we could come 3 weeks later to spend time with and ride him. He was everything as advertised. Our 8 year old hopped up on him and he took such good care of her. He was very broke, gentle and beautifully trained for our needs. Christine helped coordinate the hauling and shipping components of his travel to Hawaii. He arrived here (he is now called Dorado) and in the two months we have had him been a fantastic trail, AQHA show in trail, walk/jog, horsemanship and even a polo pony. He is willing, gentle and does everything we have asked of him without hesitation. In his former life he was a finished heel horse, so we will also try him out in different rodeo disciplines. I would recommend Christine and Precision Horse Training to anyone searching. The integrity of someone that will guarantee her horses the way she does says volumes about the quality of the horses she brings in and the time she spends assessing the horses before she puts them up for sale. Thanks, Christine!! Jill Henderson|

Purchasing a horse long distance, especially when looking for a
long-term commitment, can be a stressful event. Not so with Christine
and Precision Horse Training. In our situation, we were looking at
pairing a green horse with a green rider, and Christine was forthcoming
wth her concern regarding our choice of horse. Christine wanted to make
sure that neither horse nor rider were being set up for failure.
However, after a wonderful dialogue we both felt the situation would
work. Now that Ben has arrived, and as we are learning about him and he
is learning about us, we are even more confident about our choice. Ben
has a super sound mind, talent, and good looks that Precision is known
for. Ben is providing the opportunity for a "newbie" to learn, from the
ground up, ALL aspects of horsemanship, with a safe horse. We LOVE this
gentle guy. Thanks for making sure Christine, and thanks to Wilfong
Horse Transport for the safe delivery of this special guy!

Just touching base with you on Wyatt. I ABSOLUTELY adore him! He was a little stand-off-ish at first, but once he got to know me, (& peppermint horse treats went a long way with him), he and I just really hit it off. No doubt, he is MY horse. He even lopes up to me in the pasture now to be caught. I have ridden him all over the Bighorns this summer, he is soooo sure footed and dependable. He is just so fun to camp and hang out with. He goes through any water, any terrain, and isn't afraid of anything, not even moose!! He is perfect for me, and I am just so pleased with him. Thank you so much!! He has a life time home here!!
I was certainly fortunate to buy my forever horse from Christine Wakefield of Precision Training. Sight unseen, I chose him from the lovely video of him. I am 68 years old and I was ready for a steady horse that I could take out on the trails, and feel comfortable in whatever setting we found ourselves. We certainly found that horse in Boomer. Christine answered all my questions, and made sure I was getting a horse that I would be very happy with for years to come. I would highly recommend getting your forever horse from Christine. We love everything about our new horse, Boomer. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another horse from Christine if for some reason that came up in my future. She expertly matches you with the right companion for your horse adventures.
Thanks again Christine. Love that boy!!!!
I have been working with Christine for about a year looking for my
perfect last horse partner. Christine gets and sells a lot of fabulous
horses. Every time I make an inquiry on one she is very quick to
respond; sends me conformation photos within hours or less of my
request. I have never had to ask more than once. When I’ve called she is
always happy to discuss and has been super honest in telling me a
particular horse I like is not really suitable and why. Best customer
service and honest! Cannot go wrong working with Christine!

|Terri Hanks||Your care for our mare and taking the time and effort to get her in foal resulted in the wonderful filly we have out of "Skips Classic Gold". The facility you have is top notch!!! Thank you!!|
I purchased my QH gelding ‘Boon Time Buddy' aka ‘Jimmy’ from Christine
Wakefield at Precision Training a little over 6 months ago. He is by far
the most wonderful horse I have ever owned. I have loved and enjoyed
every horse I have owned for the last 50 plus years, but this guy is
special. He is very willing, kind and gentle. He is a nice forward
mover, works off leg and body language beautifully and loves to learn
new thing. He’s a wonderful trail horse, pony horse, and arena horse.
He’s now settled in and is part of the family. Thanks Christine for the
great training you put into him.
I actually called Christine asking about another horse on her web site, but after talking with her we both decided he wasn’t what I was looking for. I then asked her about Jimmy. She said he was already spoken for but he was a great one. A few days later she called me back and let me know he was back on the market. I bought him sight unseen. Yikes, I’ve never done that before, but I’m happy to say it all worked out wonderfully. He did have a vet check though that turned out all good.
I am 60 years old and have had horses almost all my life. All my horses (except my first sweet little mare) have been either babies, rescues, or untrained when I got them. They all taught me a lot over the years. I figured at my age it was time to get that special one, and he is truly it!
Thank you so much Christine for matching me up with Jimmy!!! I have recommended you to many of my friends, and love the way you train horses and match people up to that perfect horse.

Look no farther than Precision Training. Christine will steer you in the
right direction for the horse that fits your needs. I personally went up
last year to ride one horse (family horse) and ended up buying TWO (one
for myself). Her horses are exactly as she says they are. And if you
have any questions, she has never been any farther than a text or phone
call away. I have total confidence in Christine and her staff. So much,
that three months after getting the first two, I called her, told her
that I wanted/needed another horse and she knew immediately what I was
looking for. It was almost a month before she contacted me back with our
next horse. She found the "one" for us and we bought him just by her
pictures, video and HER RECOMMENDATION! He is even better than the other
two and completes our family perfectly! My whole family, children and
grandchildren, feel so blessed to have Christine in our lives by
providing us these fabulous horses. All of our horse buying will be
through Precision Training. And don't forget her fabulous delivery crew,
Sarah. What a pleasure to work with.
I purchased JR from Precision Training a few months ago and I am very
happy that I did.
Christine was honest, kind, friendly, and extremely good at her profession. I like the way she handles and trains her horses.
JR settled in well with my other horses and there were no surprises, he was the same horse I rode at Christine's place.
I would recommend doing business with Christine, and when I'm in the market for a new horse I will definitely look at Precision Training first.
I have owned my horse Hunter for over a year now and have truly had the
chance to know him for all that Christine said this amazing horse would
be! I bought Hunter over the phone and had never done this before and
frankly very concerned if I was making the right choice on purchasing a
horse from another state and just going by all that Christine his
trainer had to say about him. My horse Hunter turned out to be not only
one of the most beautiful horses I have ever owned but exactly as
Christine described him!! If you are lucky enough to purchase a horse
from Christine you won't be sorry I am so thankful I took the leap!!!
Thank you Christine,
It's been a pleasure working with Christine and everyone at Precision
Training. Christine has been very helpful with the AI process of
breeding Skips Classic Gold to my mare. She was very quick to reply to
my emails and I was able to get the shipment in a quick timely manner
even with not much notice. I'm very excited for my mare to have her foal
Thanks again for all the help!
|Katie||Just wanted you to know how much we love this Molly. She is so sane and smart and safe. My boyfriend has her coming to his whistle already and my mom says she's her new favorite mount. We totally adore her! And she gets along GREAT with my little arab! They are quite the pair and match really well together on the trail. Thanks for everything!|
Thanks Christine Wakefield ~
What a crazy experience buying my second and also fabulous horse from you in the late fall. I called you in need of a gelding that was quiet enough for my husband or novice friends, after seeing your website which was full of GELDINGS! I left it to you saying "I don't even care how old the horse is, just need a rock solid safe horse!!"
You immediately suggested Bandit, although you told me about them all. When I said I could come in a few days, you said you had 2 sets of people coming to see him the next
day and suggested I simply get him sight unseen, that he was a "keeper!"
I immediately said "I never buy anything without a vet check," but you assured me that you always work the horses quite hard for a couple of weeks prior to putting them on your sale page, and find out as much as possible from the previous owners to assure there wouldn't be a problem especially on a horse that is only 10 years old. With that said, I took a chance and have never been happier!!
Bandit has gone from a "ranch horse" to an English arena horse who we even have jumped a tiny bit (but since I really want this one to hold up for trails, jumping will not be his main job). We plan to do some penning this spring, and has already started his other new discipline of Extreme Mountain Trail Obstacles.....
Thank you for helping us out, and being so honest about everything. I loved the fact you sent us home with an "owners manual" that included most everything about the horse including his blanket size!!!
|Kaylah Gilkey||In one word, Precision Horse Training is AMAZING! Hands down the best breeding facility in the valley! They are very good at what they do and I won't take my mares anywhere else! I know I can drop my mares off to be bred and not only will they come home safely in foal, but I know I will be contacted regularly, my mares will be cared for like their own, and I can rest easy knowing all is well. I absolutely love Christine Wakefield and her staff and highly recommend them for ANYTHING you need, from breeding to training and sales, Precision is the only way to go!!!!|
We feel so completely fortunate to have met Christine Wakefield and the Precision
Horse Training family last year. After keeping an eye on her website for some time we
ended up purchasing a spectacular gelding from her. He has been
absolutely awesome and he definitely was exactly what was advertised.
Just as I was impressed with my new boy I was even more blown away by
Christine's utter professionalism. The first day we met her I was
overwhelmed by her kindness and the amount of patience she took with me.
Having been "horseless" for many years I was slightly apprehensive but
Christine made that one of the best days in recent history for me. I
left her place with a sore face from smiling so much! Christine never
made me feel silly or rushed, she took a lot of time out of her day to
ensure I was confident and comfortable with my new horse. It was even
her idea for me to haul my saddle out to her barn so she could ensure
that I was properly set up with my new boy who is definitely not easy to
fit. Purchasing through her was such an exceptional experience all
around that I have now purchased two more horses through her and both
have been top notch. In fact, that is the only way to describe Precision
Training: top notch. Christine conducts herself with the highest level
of professionalism and honesty. She hasn't hesitated to tell me if a
horse is not going to be a match for me or my family on more than one
occasion. I appreciate knowing that she is not in the business of
selling us a horse, rather she is in the business of helping match us
with our perfect horse. Equally as important I know that any horse she
represents is going to be exactly what she says it is, healthy and safe.
Prior to shipping our horses to us they were each boarded at her barn temporarily. Christine and her staff provided impeccable care for our geldings and when they stepped off the trailer at our place they were in great shape and even freshly bathed! The boys even shipped with shiny new rope halters and all their pertinent information in a folder for me, nothing was overlooked. It has been refreshing to meet someone who conducts herself so ethically and professionally with such a friendly demeanor. Our new horses have been a wonderful addition to our family. However, we are very grateful that we have also made wonderful friends in Christine and her family. We are happy customers and Precision fan club members for life!
As a single parent of two small children, 4 year old twins, I had been
struggling to find a safe way to introduce my children to the joys of
riding. I had purchased matched Shelton mares and found that it was very
difficult, and at time a bit unsafe, to have the kids, who knew
absolutely nothing about riding, each on their own horse. I got to the
point where I could manage pretty well if I led them from the ground,
but never got to the point where I felt totally safe “ponying” them from
I finally decided I needed to do some “horse trading” and found Skittles on Christine Wakefield’s website. I called Christine and talked with her about my specific needs and thoughts, i.e., to sell one of my full-size horses and down-size to Skittles, a small ~13 hands mare, with the intentions of having my children ride double. Christine and I talked several times about what I was looking for, what I needed and what I planned to do. She ensured me that Skittles was a very well-behaved horse and she felt she would do great with my children. I ultimately purchased Skittles, based on just my phone conversations with Christine, and traveled down to Rouge River to drop off my full-size horse and pick up Skittles.
I am very happy to say that Skittles has turned out to be everything that Christine described, and MORE. My kids started out leading her (since they are so small, I put carrots in their pockets for Skittles to follow) to give them confidence and develop trust with her. They have now transitioned to riding double and it is a true joy to see them enthusiastic and excited to go riding. My son was terribly afraid of riding the ponies, and he has completely fallen in love with and totally trusts Skittles. We are planning our first trip to the mountains for later this summer, and I am certain that Skittles will be the rock-solid performer she has shown herself to be.
Finding the right horse can be a very difficult endeavor and is filled with a tremendous amount of uncertainty, apprehension, and potentially, misinformation and mistrust. I can honestly say that Christine Wakefield removed all of these issues and assisted me in getting the perfect horse for my children. I could not be happier. I have already talked to her about keeping an eye out for another “Skittles” as my kids will be moving to separate horses within the next two years.
Thank you Christine. I sincerely appreciate what you did for me and my children.
|Janet Engle with Kayla & Wendy Mainwaring and Windancer||
We can not say enough about Christine Wakefield at Precision Horse Training. We met her
2 years ago when she started training my grand daughters filly,
Windancer. Christine was so very kind & encouraging to Kayla giving her
lessons so she could learn how to ride Wind. Wind recieved A-1
care while at Precision and any questions were answered immediately.
Last year we chose to breed Wind to Skips Classic Gold standing at Precision. Again Chrisitine was very helpful, kind, enthusiastic, and professional with everything.
We have had Christine for training, lessons, breeding, and will now seek her expertise at marketing. Wind's beautiful colored 2015 filly which will help Kaylas college fund.
A very big thank you to Christine & Precision Training !
Christine is an amazing trainer/breeder! She has helped me tremendously with my mare! From starting her, to now breeding her, Christine has been there for it all, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my horses!
|Leia and Rapunzel||
I am overjoyed with the mare I purchased from Precision. Christine
honest about every aspect of the transaction, helpful and she put an
amazing foundation on my mare, Rapunzel.I am thankful to have come
across her barn!

|Nance Brandenburg (Colorado)||Hi Christine, just wanted to tell you how grateful I am that I bought Chance from you. I am totally in love with him. He is just awesome. He loves my granddaughter so much, and me too. He even licks her and nuzzles us. He is a joy to ride and he isn't lazy for me. I know that he will take care of us for the rest of his life and we will love him forever. For buying him site unseen he's a once in a lifetime kinda horse. Thank you again, your friend, Nance Brandenburg (Colorado)|
I purchased Doc from Precision Training late Feb 2014 sight unseen with
the exception of the video, I knew then that he was the horse for me
however I thought to myself he looks to good to be true, well let me
tell you he is so....much more than I expected exactly what Christine
said he was and is, Doc is my saving Grace I explained my situation to
Christine and She felt that Doc would be a good fit for me and WOW She
was spot on.
I have waited for over 2 1/2-months prior to giving my word on Precision Training, my point is this, Christine is a Woman of Her word I am so thrilled that I trusted Her I love Doc so very much actually Doc is teaching me just like Christine said He would.
I would like to add that Wilfong Equine Services hauled Doc for me Sarah is a real sweetheart they were so professional real safe haulers great People to deal with, Christine recommended them, again no problem.
|Briana Neet||I have been so pleased with my new exceptional gelding "Turbo". I did a lot of research and horse hunting before I found Precision Horse Training and Christine. I found the entire experience delightful. There was never any pressure. Christine Wakefield is professional, friendly, patient, and most of all knows horses. Even after my purchase, Christine has been available to answer my questions and help the transition go smoothly. One of the most important things she told me was she builds long term relationships with her clients. I was sold on her talent, quality of care, and the quality of training my horse had been given. I would and will recommend Christine and Precision Horse Training over and over again. Thank you!|
I cannot say enough good things about Christine Wakefield. She has been the most
pleasant, hard working professional I have ever had the pleasure of
doing business with. She has gone above and beyond with everything she
has done for me. I have never dealt with anyone else as motivated and
enthusiastic and good at what she does. I will always use Precision
Horse Training for my horses' training and marketing needs.

Precision Horse Training is our first choice . Christine and her stall are
exceptional, very professional, and friendly. The horses are very well
cared, and the facility itself is superb.
Horses that we have transported have been very well trained, know their manners, and are very well behaved, from the youngest to the oldest, all due to Christine and her staff.
Christine is an exceptional person. Even with her busy schedule she will take the time to talk with you and discuss all of your horse needs.
Of all the facilities we have seen and trainers we have met, Christine and her facility Precision Training are number one. We would recommend Christine for all horse training needs.
It's always a pleasure to go to Precision Training.
Since I have known Christine Wakefield and Heath, they have enriched my family’s
life as horse trainers, breeders, and friends. We have had many horse
changes over the past five years, but through each one Christine was
there with her knowledge and support to help guide us through each sale,
lesson, horse show, and purchase. She is my go to with any training
questions, and I love that if it isn’t a quick “try this” she will drop
everything to get you over to the barn and help you figure it out
together. She is like no other trainer I have met, fully dedicating
herself to each horse she works with and helping to build up her riders
through education and positivity.
I met Christine years ago after spending over ten years away from horses, and never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the “horse” path I am on now thanks to her help and support. I look forward to many more years of friendship and successes with Christine and the Precision team!
|Richard and Debbie Stroup||My husband and I would highly recommend Precision Horse Training. We sent a nice 2 yo there for Christine to sell. Christine was very professional and honest and took good care of our horse and was able to sell him quickly. Christine is very knowledgeable, kept us updated concerning his progress and about interested buyers. We would definitely utilize the services of Precision Training in the future.|
|Virginia Bond||When you are looking for a horse you can trust with your kids and loved ones, Christine Wakefield provides the guidance and expertise to make the match work. I have confidence in her judgment and she knows how important it is to find "the" lifelong friend. Not only have I purchased 2 horses from Precision Training, I have also trusted Christine to sell two of my horse kids and find the right family for them. She is the best and very honest. I would not hesitate to buy sight unseen....again. You can also have confidence in the expertise of her staff as well. They know how to treat your horses like the precious friends that they are. Since I have never written a testimonial for anyone before, I hope this covers your concerns. If not, feel free to call me. I am now the proud owner of Christine's personal horse, Bob, and the BEST reining cow horse ever, Hailya.|
|Traci and Gary Carson||
After several years of looking for a horse that would fit our family we
finally came across 'Precision Horse Training' on the internet. We
decided to take a 5 hour drive to their stables and check out a horse
they had for sale. The horse that we were interested in did not mesh
with our lifestyle. Christine Wakefield did her upmost best to work with us. Her
patience and integrity is something we will never forget. She pointed us
toward another horse that we agreed to. We are so happy with our
beautiful gelding. He is one of the greatest horses we could have hoped
for. Precision Horse Training's integrity and business dealings are very
rare in the horse world. We strongly recommend them for anyone who is
tired of being sold a bill of goods through misrepresentation.

|Nedra & Wyatt||
This is something that is definitely way over due!! Wyatt (Montana Silverado) and I just celebrated our second year Anniversary!! For not having a better cliché…time sure flies when you’re having fun!! Who would think… that I could get along so well with a four year old? When Christine saw us ride for the first time…she knew we would make a great team. I was just on the back side of a horrible life threatening horse accident…so choosing a new horse was very hard. I have a wonderful loving and supportive husband!! J Instead of not wanting me to ride anymore…he encouraged me to hunt for the perfect horse. Wyatt has been that and more…thanks to Christine’s caring heart and wisdom.
Having him home only two weeks… we went on a long trail ride with our friends and new 5 month old puppy running along. Now our Golden Retriever puppy (Chase) is 2 ½ and leading Wyatt around the pasture. He has been on lots of Trail Challenges (even won a few), working cattle and is now one of the official turn back horses for my husband’s “2” Cutting Clubs. If I’m in need of a break… there is always one or two of my friends ready and waiting to jump on his back. Wyatt is a horse that “ALL” my friends dream about having!! Everyone always compliments what a kind and sweet horse Wyatt is. They also want to know if I would ever consider …selling him? NOT!!! Who would think… a four year old could help to bring my confidence back??
Thanks Christine for bringing Wyatt from Montana and doing such an awesome job getting him ready for me!
Christine Wakefield and her family have been a great encouragement to us and we truly value their friendship and also consider it a huge blessing to have found them. This is definitely one huge and positive use of the Internet!!
If I live long enough to wear out Wyatt…I will definitely be coming back to Precision Training for another horse!! I can’t think of anyone else that could even come close to their honesty and integrity!!
I just had to write and say “thank you”. We have had B2 for almost a month now and I can’t tell you how much we love him already. He is such a sweet horse and so much fun to ride. Nothing bothers him…even when the chicken ran into his stall he barely budged. He stands nice and quiet to be saddled and I can jump on his back and just go. I feel so fortunate to have him. He has bonded with my other gelding and I am so happy that they have each other as companions now. I can’t wait to get him working cows…just waiting for better weather.
Again, thank you for such a wonderful horse. I have had bad experiences purchasing from other people and I am just thrilled that you guys are the real deal. If I decide to increase the family in the future, I’ll give you a call!
|Cia, Hallie , Romy and "Cami"||After over a year of searching for a novice youth horse for my daughters I accidentally stumbled upon a little APHA mare and took a chance and called Christine about her. I must admit it was a little scary to think about buying a horse that I'd never seen in person from people that I had never met personally. Christine Wakefield was absolutely 100% honest and helped me through the process sending me constant updates, and completely set my mind at ease. This was absolutely one of the greatest decision I have ever made. My girls just got home from their first APHA show and their new horse "Cami" was a rock star. She navigated an 8 year old through a very crowded warm up pen and took such good care of both of them. She is worth her weight in gold and I really have Christine to thank for doing such an amazing job training her and helping me ensure I found the right horse for my girls. I would recommend Precision Horse Training to anyone. Christine goes above and beyond and it is obvious how much she cares about her horses and her clients. Hopefully someday we will make it down to Oregon!!|
|Noel Sweet||After 10 months of looking for my perfect horse, traveling from Vancouver WA to Santa Rosa CA and many points between, I came upon an ad from Precision Training on a 10 year old all around horse. After speaking with Christine at great length she fully understood my specific needs and exactly the horse I was looking for. Having had a horrible horse accident with limitations to my riding she had 3 horses for me to look at. I was planning on a seasoned well behaved older horse to suit my needs, but she had a 3 year old she just knew I would love. I wasn't planning on buying a baby I would have to work with, but Christine in less than 30 days had Kenny started and assured me that he is exactly what I was needing. Kenny was everything she said he was and more. Just a baby, his personality and trusting demeanor fit my long list of expectations. If it would not have been for Christine and her excellent judgment and the time she took talking to me about my needs I would not have the best horse I have ever owned. Legally Approved aka "Kenny" has been to the Idaho wilderness on extreme trails and has packed out Elk from the treacherous mountains, in the show ring winning high point English horse, worked cows moving over 300 head into and out of the mountains, been an excellent babysitter and lesson horse and has now started competing in barrel racing. Kenny is everything I wanted and needed, and I would never have found my Kenny if it weren't for Christine and Precision Training.|
|Kaylah Gilkey||I can not thank Christine and Precision Training enough for all that they have done for me. They are absolutely number one in my book and I will continue to go back to them time and time again for ANYTHING I may need, be it sale horses, breeding, lessons, you name it! They treat every horse in their barn like their own, and only provide the best of care, while always keeping you informed. I highly recommend Precision to ANYONE looking for the best! They are it hands down!|
|Kayla Mainwaring||In 2008 my grandmas Paint mare had a foal and from the time she fell asleep in my lap I knew I wanted to keep her. So I trained her myself and I knew I wanted to do western pleasure with her. I took Windancer to Christine and she made it so easy for me and my horse to understand! Christine made me feel completely comfortable to ride a green horse and take control. I would recommend her to anyone, she is a wonderful trainer! :)|
|Tori Russel||My relationship with Christine started when I bred my mare to her stallion Secret Class, Christine kept me up to date with everything going on during my mares time with her and she took excellent care of my mare and treated her as one of her own. When my mare foaled and there where complications Christine was there every step of the way to offer help and support. I then sent that foal to Christine as a 2 year old for training and she once again treated him as one of her own. Christine did an incredible job with my colt and he is a joy to ride each and every day. Christine is always available for questions and is a true Professional Horsewoman. My story with Christine started as a business relationship and has turned into a friendship that I value and treasure each and everyday. Thanks Christine for all that you have done over the years.|

All i can say is 'WOW" when i was doing my search for my next horse, i
read the testimonials on your website (which i will be adding to) but
they were absolutely true, you are a standout in your profession, I have
never met a trainer (and there have been many) that was so genuine and
honest. I truly want to extend to you and Katrina my heartfelt
gratitude. I am truly blessed to have met you. I promise to give Tilly
my heart and the best care possible. Thanks again Donna

I asked Christine if I
could write a testimonial for her website. Normally I have found it is
the other way around, the client is asked to provide one….Please.
Our relationship with Christine began over a phone call regarding a lovely Palomino Mare that we were interested in. We drove 9 hours to meet with Christine and spent an hour with her. Thus began what I consider a wonderful friendship and mentorship for me. Not only has Christine worked tirelessly to help us find our forever horses ( my husband and I ) but she has worked with both of these young horses and trained them to the point where we as novices can enjoy them for many years to come.
Everyone associated with Precision Training personifies the term “We are happy to help with any questions or concerns you may have” most people say that but don’t follow thru. I personally experienced the most amazing acts of patience, kindness and knowledge from everyone working at Precision Training. I spent 10 days shadowing each and every member of Christine’s team, while my horse was in training. I was in training too and I Loved It! I learned so much, I thought the best way to learn is to jump in with both feet and work beside these wonderful people. That’s what I did and I can’t thank them enough for everything they taught me…. Rachel, Zack, Hannah, Carissa and of course, Christine.
No book in the world is going to replace hands on efforts and teachings by quality people such as this.
I look forward to many years of enjoying my beautiful Friesen!... yes a Friesen! (Which is another story altogether) that has been lovingly trained by Christine. I know that if I have a question, the answer is only an email away to the best trainer I had the good fortune to meet. Christine Wakefield. With sincerest thanks for your honesty, hard work and wonderful help.
|Audra Estramado in Gold Hill, OR||About 2 years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to breed my mare for a 2011 foal. That filly arrived just in time as my husband and I endured heartbreak when we lost a child. I spent everyday with that filly and she was my world and I thought she would be forever. However I soon became pregnant again and my husband and I welcomed a baby boy into our lives. Although I loved my filly deeply she was constantly being put as some would say "on the back burner". She went from being an "ahead of the game" weanling to a filly that needed a job quickly. So I contacted Christine at Precision Horse Training and she made me feel like a priority and made me feel like I had some options with my filly. My filly spent not a day more then 30 days in training with Christine and she was a new girl. At that point I had to choose between bringing her home and potentially loosing some of what she had gained or face the option of selling her. That had never been an option until this point. But then, Christine assured me that the filly would be placed appropriately and in a good home and Christine would have it no other way. After all that we had gone thru I couldn't face another heartbreak...but it turned out to be a blessing, not just for my family but for a very deserving family up north who ended up purchasing my filly who now responds to "Buttons". Till this day I am in close contact personally with them, we share photos and videos as well as notes here and there. I couldn't be more happy with the way I was treated by Christine and her family and friends at Precision Horse Training and I would recommend them to not just anybody but everybody! Thank you sooo much Christine, I hope to need your services in the future again.|
Although I worked for Precision Training, Christine also started my mustang mare under saddle for me. She did a fabulous job giving my mare a solid foundation in those all important first rides. She always made sure my mare understood and was ready before moving on, and returned to me a responsive, safe and happy horse. My first ride was so wonderful. I can't thank Christine enough!!!
Christine also started, and sold, my very bold, energetic Friesian Sporthorse mare under saddle, giving her the same great foundation that would make her ready to go any direction her new owners might wish to go. I have seen her work with a wide variety of horses with different temperaments, and different goals for their owners. I would never hesitate to send any of my horses to her for training. I only wish I still lived closer!
|I have had my two Stallions and young filly in training with Precision Training spanning the last three years. Christine Wakefield is one of the most upstanding, honest, and good hearted people I have ever met. I have entrusted her with the care of my mares for breeding as well as the foals at their sides. Christine has always gone above and beyond to give my horses the best care possible. I wouldn't trust any other trainer on the face of the Earth to care for my horses as well as shape their young minds. Precision Training is a top notch facility and Christine Wakefield is one of the best horse trainers to come along in my life time.|
My testimonial is going to be a little different, I have known Christine for a LONG time, one thing that I can say without a doubt is that Christine is a rarity in the industry, first and foremost she puts the safety and welfare of the horses before anything. Christine is honest and is truly concerned about finding the perfect partnership between horse and rider. I have had the privilege to work with her as well as know her on a personal level. Christine sold a breeding stock paint gelding for me about 7 years ago. I had the horse at another trainers and had made arrangements to go and pick the horse up to deliver it to Christine. We had discussed what had been done with this horse over the phone as well as what I needed to get out of him financially when he sold. I let Christine know the price that I was asking for this gelding and by the time that I got the horse up to her place she had seven buyers lined up to look at him. The first lady that came to look at him bought him, the only complaint that Christine had was she said "if I knew that he was THIS nice I would have had you ask more for him, he is worth much more than you told me that he is". I will continue to do business with Precision Training as I am always impressed with the character that of the Precision Training Staff possesses.
Precision Training has been an amazing experience for us! We took a young horse there to be evaluated, as we thought he wouldn't be good "show horse" material. Christine soon showed us the error of our ways! Not only did our 13 year old daughter win a few Championships in her age group in both English and Western performance classes, she took just about every Reserve Championship you can think of in both the 13 & under and Novice Youth categories - in his first year of showing! Reserve champion junior horse for both English and Western performance - driven by a 13 year old? How often do you see that happen? He's being finished in the bridle this year, and we anticipate great things. Thanks to Christine for helping to build Casey's confidence, and showing her the positive results of dedication, attitude and hard work. We've always known she was a winner, and with Christine's help, soon everyone else will know that too!
Thanks Christine and Heath!
I can't really explain all the good times I've had with Precision Training. I've been through a few trainers but Christine's been the best. I've NEVER felt like I couldn't ask her a question. If I had a question and she was doing something she would stop and listen to what I had to say. It doesn't feel like she's our trainer, it feels more like she's a part of our family. At every show we've gone to it's always been fun, and coming from a kid, that's really important. she's more of a show mom. My parents usually work the shows, so I'm usually on my own. Heath is always there to lend a hand, hold a horse, or just offer encouragement. So all I can say is there the best trainer and encourager there is.
|Ok, Here goes...I met Christine and her staff last year when bringing my mare to her facility in Placerville for breeding. My husband and I were treated very special, I was amazed at their well maintained, and organized facility. I was also very happy how well they all took care of my mare "Mindy" she was groomed to perfection every day that she stayed there she was bedded down in clean shavings, and her stall was always cleaned out regular. Their facility was excellent and very clean, every one was so polite, and made us feel so comfortable. Christine always updated me on my mare during her stay. This is the best facility I have ever taken a mare to for breeding. I never worried about Mindy's care, she looked beautiful and well groomed when I picked her up.We were more than satisfied with everything about the facility, and especially Christine, she is an amazing person, and an excellent trainer. We had a wonderful positive experience dealing with Precision Training. I would refer any one to their new facility in Oregon for breeding and/or training.|
|I have known Christine Wakefield for over seven years. When I first met her I was looking for a trainer for both me and my horse. Christine is the “go to” person when I have questions about anything horse related. She is just a phone call or email away – and is very prompt about getting back to you. When my horse injured himself and needed to be rehabilitated, I turned to Christine and her staff at Precision Training. He received excellent care and lots of attention, and is doing great. It is very reassuring to me to know a person like Christine – no matter what, she will be there to help me if I ever need help.|

|I had the pleasure of meeting Christine several years ago when I was looking to breed my mare to a paint stallion that was standing at her facility. When we arrived, she showed us the stallion we were interested in but then introduced us to another one who was living right next to a mare and she told us that he had a wonderful disposition, was athletic and smart. We chose that one and were delighted with the foal we got, who carried that sire’s disposition. When she moved to her next place, we were lucky enough to be literally five minutes away and when we decided to start our Arabian gelding, we took him up to her. She did a wonderful job with him and when we were having trouble loading him in our trailer, she popped right over and loaded him up and took him back to her place to teach him to load more easily. Christine was there for us when we were leaving on vacation but had a mare that was due to foal. We took our very pregnant mare up to her place, where she monitored her 24/7 and helped her foal out. When my mare was having difficulties after foaling, she called her vet who came right out to help. She has been there for us when we have any questions, problems or need advice. She is always readily available and happy to help. She also made a video of my Arabian gelding and put him on a website for us. Her help on the ranch were also super nice and helpful and we looked forward to their annual Christmas parties. Now that she has packed up and moved to Rogue River , we are devastated! It makes us want to move up there as well. I highly recommend her facility and staff to anyone, whether it be to stand a stallion, train a young horse or learn to show, she can do it all! We really miss her!|
